One of the easiest means to customize a t-shirt is the applique technique and the easiest design to set up is the 3R or the recycling symbol.

Step One. Look for a t-shirt that you deem can still be brought into play. It would be awesome if your have it in green but if you don't have any green colored shirt, any color would do.

Step Two. Simply elicit a fabric that is in contrast with the color or your t-shirt. If you have green t-shirt, you can hunt for a piece of fabric in white, black or yellow.

Step Three. Trace your recycling symbol on your fabric using a marker. Make half-inch allowance on the edges of your fabric. Make it great sufficient so it will be incredibly visible on your promotional t-shirts.

Oldsmobile Held A Candle To No Other Auto

Oldsmobile is the oldest passenger car manufacturer in the United States, and one of the world's oldest. Everything came about when Frank Clark and Ransom Eli Olds agreed to produce a "horseless carriage" with Olds supplying the engine and other mechanical components (his father built immobile gasoline engines), and Clark providing the carriage (his father had a carriage business). After making the vehicle run successfully, Olds and some Lansing businessmen established the Olds Motor Vehicle Company in 1897. Olds relocated to Detroit in 1899 and became the Olds Motor Works. They built a new factory - the first specifically designed to manufacture vehicles - on the Detroit River banks. The facility at Lansing was maintained as an engine factory.

After moving to Detroit, the Oldsmobile Runabout was developed. Its wheelbase measured 66 inches, its weight was 700 pounds, and it had a single-cylinder, seven-horsepower gasoline engine. Olds started by selling only 425 cars in 1901, but sales steadily increased to a stunning 5,508 units in 1904. Olds Motor Works was at that time selling more cars in America than anybody had ever sold before. Oldsmobiles were finding their way to the royals of Italy and England, and even to the Middle East and Russia. In 1908, the Olds Motor Works was absorbed into the young General Motors Corporation, which had the Buick Motor Company as its principal asset. Olds continued to thrive under GM and increased its production to nearly 8,000 cars in 1915.

The economic explosion during the Roaring Twenties propelled Olds production to 45,000 in 1925. That same year, Olds started using chromium-plating as trims on cars. Depression dampened sales, but new Oldsmobile sales still reached 183,000 cars in 1935 the 1 millionth Oldsmobile rolled out. Olds introduced the first completely automatic transmission, the Hydra-matic in 1939, which made considerable sales, resulting in the production of the 2-millionth Oldsmobile in 1941.

Olds Motor Works officially was made General Motors Corporation's Oldsmobile Division January 1, 1942. After World War II, Oldsmobile continued making milestones. It came up with the first overhead valve, high-compression V-8 engine. In 1953, Oldsmobile introduced power brakes and air conditioning. In 1955 the 5-millionth Oldsmobile was manufactured. In 1958, they introduced the "Trans-portable" radio; and for enhanced fuel economy, a new carburetor, the "Econo-o-Way" and in 1959 a split choke system.

Oldsmobile launched the compact F-85 in 1960. It was rated at 18 mpg on the highway, and was intended to fight imports, for those who required a small, low-cost car but disliked the austerity of the existing imports. Olds introduced one of that decade's most essential advances in 1966; the use of front-wheel drive on the Tornado. This came as peculiar to many observers, but it permitted Oldsmobile to achieve a long-standing goal: a flat floor for greater room and comfort, and a chassis/drivetrain assembly which made possible superior traction and handling unheard of in cars of this bulk. The "muscle cars" like the 4-4-2, the Hurst Olds, and the W-30, 31 and 32 were popularized during this period. In 1978 Olds pioneered the first V-8 diesel engine for an American passenger car. In 1982 Olds produced the Cutlass Ciera, which was fitted with a front-drive, and a new V-6 diesel engine.
